On December 28, the “Book fashion show “Meet by cover”” was held in the reading room of the central city library named after A. Astreika.
This is the final event of the creative regional super cover competition “Dress Code for an Old Book” as part of a joint project between the
library and the art school. 37 children from all over the region took part in the competition, the vast majority of whom were students of
S.S. Semashko and Malinovskaya A.A. from our school. For several months, young artists designed, drew and glued new covers for their
favorite books. From them, library workers put together a bright and interesting exhibition, which can be seen when visiting the reading room.
Today the children were treated to fun competitions, congratulations from Santa Claus, riddles, presentation of diplomas and prizes to the
winners, certificates and sweet souvenirs to all participants. The event ended with the premiere viewing of a video of the play "Carol Batleyka"
based on the fairy tale "Chortau Treasures" by V. Korotkevich. The performance was prepared by students of the art department
at the Sloboda-Kuchinskaya school under the direction of A.A. Malinovskaya.
